All EHD 180 & 210 models are now supplied as standard with the design registered, Leading Edge blades which provide a cleaner cut and longer life in most applications.

EHD Rotaslasher -General Specifications

Bodies:	Manufactured from 5mm steel plate, strongly reinforced with full length gussets and hot dipped galvanised
Mounting:	All EHD models are centrally mounted and have Cat 2 three point linkage geometry
Drive Shaft/s:	BYPY 107 series tri-lobal drive shafts are supplied with the EHD180 model. A BYPY DS8 SFT series drive shaft is supplied with the EHD210 and Dreadnaught models
Clutch:	A Howard, sintered bronze, multi plate clutch is fitted to the slasher end of the drive shaft of the EHD180 and 210 models and on the input to the spindle gearboxes on the EHD 300 and EHD 360
Gearbox:	The Howard designed and built, fabricated steel unlimited HP (at 540 pto) EHD gearbox is fitted to all models. Machine cut, hardened alloy steel, gears and taper roller bearings are used throughout. The combined spindle, output shaft and blade beam mounting flange, is precision machined from a single drop forging. A double oil seal system, backed up by a felt seal and a dust cover, is used to protect the spindle bearings. The EHD gearboxes on the EHD180 and Dreadnought models have a ratio of 1:1.87. On the EHD210, the ratio is 1:1.39. The splitter gearbox on the Dreadnought has a 1:1 ratio.
Blade Beam:	Multi-leaf, spring steel blade beam with tear drop, counter sunk blade fastener holes are supplied on all models
Blades:	All blades are forged, heat treated and pivot on hardened bushes. The leading edge blade is fitted to the EHD180 and 210 ans stepped reversible blades are fitted to the EHD300 and 360
Guarding:	Nylon reinforced, 9mmrubber conveyor belt debris guards at the front and rear across all three models.
